Large In Charge Radio. Is a show that promote size acceptance for people of size. As a big man I understand what many people go through with society being as harsh as it is. However a person has to live their lives to the best of "Their" ability. We talked about "Love and Marriage" for plus size people. My wife and I shake of the stereotypes and make it happen regardless of size. She is a plus size model and of course I am big man who does the writing. The bottom line is we love the Lord and each other. Size is not an issue...
Urban Literary Review is one of the shows that gives voice to the independant author and Urban Lit author who doesn't get the chance to explain their work. . Tia Short and Martin Pratt are great and gracious hosts. Its always a pleasure to be a part of their show. I am support of their mission and when your talking professionalism its they are the example.
DEHITMEN are two of the funnest and coolest brother on the net. Ella Curry hosted an African-American History on-line Book Fair on Black Authors Network on Blog talk radio. A few poets and I tried to show what "Black Love" was all about . After reading my poems, I stayed on to be a part of the panel. We had a great discussion. I tried to make sure the brothers out here who love their wives were represented. It was because of her show I landed my work in the great Mary B. Morrison's book called "Who's Loving You" Enjoy.
For the past 12 years I have been trying to do my thing as a New York City Educator. As part of my services here I offer "Professional Educational Advice". To give you an idea of what I know about the schools here is a show I co-hosted about the educational system. We discussed the "The No Child Left Behind Law" A subject that is making things very difficult for teachers of African American children. Actually low income children from all races are having a tough time due to this law. Think about this as you listen to the show. Do you worried about your child in their school programs? Do they seem to take more test than ever? Does all the complimentary subjects seem to be disappearing? Well, on February 2, 2008, Urban Media Network (The Real News) Martin Pratt and I co-hosted a show that tried to shed light on those questions that affects our children in today's schools. Enjoy the listen.
This video was taken in Jamaica, West Indies. My wife and I returned to the same resort we stayed at through Hurricane Dean one year earlier on our honeymoon. Trust in a higher power and in the talents given you to be the best you. Insider you is something special, search yourself and when you find that talent your whole world will change.
In one years time I was still madly in love with my wife, had a new poetry book out, part of an upcoming book tour and contracted to writer three other titles. You can’t tell me the Lord doesn’t have plans for you when you give in to the talent given you.
Remember, You not buying poetry or just writing, your supporting a Educator who is trying to make a difference in this world. Thanks for your support. God Bless
