In its 20th year, the Annual African American "Positively Dover" Festival is a free, family-oriented outdoor arts event that promotes the awareness of African American Art, heritage and culture and celebrates the artistic contributions and achievements of the African American to the Dover community and its visitors. The 20th Annual African "Positively Dover" Festival is scheduled for Saturday, June 26, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. and is expected to attract more than 24,000 visitors to downtown Dover, Delaware - making it the largest one-day ethnic festival in the state of Delaware. National, regional and local entertainment from jazz to steel drums to gospel and bluegrass musicians as well as our very own Sankofa African Dance Company will perform through out the day.
