The Current Update On "A Man In Transition"

July 20, 2008

Hey everyone...

I know I am way behind but it’s been a hectic month. With a
month behind me now I had a chance to take it all in being
a new published author. I recorded a little something for
you to listen too. I hope you enjoy...

Also I want to you stop by and check out my latest
interview with Shon Bacon of The Nubian
Chronicles.http://www.tnc-magazine.net/dapen-kl.html With
each interview I am learning more and more about myself and
my book. It was fun to do I am sure you’ll enjoy the piece.
You can find it in “The Straight From Da Pen” section of
the magazine. Click on the link next to my initials...

Well, on another note, this month hasn’t been the best
month. With the positives you must accept the negatives and
I am learning that not everyone who offers support will
actually give. It’s nothing new; I guess it kind of like
when you suspect your partner of cheating and then receive
confirmation... Even though you thought it, you’re still
hurt. As a self published author it comes with the
territory. Hey you take the good with the bad.

Back to the positives, I ran into a friend today who bought
a book and he works for 98.7 KISS FM here in New York . He
mentioned he’ll check things out and get back to me with
doing more towards supporting... Keep your fingers crossed
and your prayers going up. This is a slow process and I am
on my grind. We will see where this goes. Keep your ears
and eyes open and I’ll let you know as soon as I know
something...

In closing, I want to say from the bottom of my heart,
“THANK YOU FOR THE LOVE AND SUPPORT! You are allowing me to
create my dreams and be the vessel the Lord wants me to be.
I am deeply honored by that. I never take your support for
granted and I am already working on the next manuscript.
Gigolo to Jesus is on the way...

God Bless and Take Care
